WP Advanced – Plugins

In this module we introduce you to plugins. Plugins can be extremely useful and functional for your blog. They can also be damaging to your site if you have too many and if you select badly coded or simply heavy plugins. You should keep the number of plugins you have on your site to a minimum. There isn’t a magic number but try to select carefully and read reviews of any plugins you are thinking about adding.

I have added a list of plugins that you might want to check out just here. The top listed plugins are essential though and you really should have them on your site to protect, optimize and speed up your site.

The plugins listed below are plugins you might like to have on your blog. You should avoid having too many plugins though, because the more you have the more they can affect your sites load speed.

The list of plugins below are not provided to say that you need them all, but are for you to take a look at and determine if you need them. There are certain plugins that are essential, which are the Recommended Plugins below.

The others (*Optional Recommended Plugins) you can choose if you want them on your site or not. I have added the URL to each, so you can have a look at what the plugin does.
